Domestic Travel A Travel Authorization must be completed two weeks prior to taking a trip. Upon returning from the trip, submit an Expense Voucher for your accrued expenses. If travel cost is substantially higher than the Travel Authorization or on a different cost object, submit a revised Travel Authorization along with the Expense Voucher. When sharing rooms indicate who the room was shared with and submit Expense Vouchers together, if possible. Travel Involving Students on a field trip or meetings A Travel Authorization in the name of the faculty also requires a listing of the names and social security numbers of each student taking the trip. Foreign Travel Assistance with the details of foreign travel include: foreign currency exchange conversion, per diem rates for international sites, and reviewing foreign travel Expense Voucher and receipts. MEDEX - Medical Evacuation Insurance for International Travel This program is on a subscription basis for individuals to provide medial assistance during international travel, both for transport to a medically approved facility or repatriation back to the U.S. under extreme emergency. Traveler can email Joan Frederick to obtain an application for MEDEX Travel Insurance. Insurance can be purchased on an annual basis or short-term basis or monthly. Applications are completed and returned to Jared for processing. |
